The Kutna Hora Bone Church: 6:02pm 16 reviews travel •http://blog.hotelclub.com/the-kutna-h...; I still can't believe it, but I was actually lucky enough to go here and see this place. AMAZING! It's a funny story because you have to take a train to the boonies because this church is wayyy outside of the center of Prague. When we got off at our stop there were absolutely no signs in English. Just a picture of the Bone Church and an arrow pointing in a general direction, with street directions in Czech. We came upon this one friendly Czech lady who through a series of hand signals and noises (we played Cherades to communicate) figured out that we wanted to get to this church. She did the "follow me" hand wave, and we just did... through back streets and short cuts. She entertained us by walking with a fake limp and other things... we just laughed. She still spoke to us, but of course we just smiled and nodded. We finally approached the church JUST as it was closing. But our friend, blew through the church doors and convinced the people running the place to keep it open a bit longer, just for us. We got to tour the place, completely by ourselves. As if the site of hundreds of thousands of bones decorating this place wasn't creepy and eerily fascinating enough we were ALONE in this place. The friendly stranger waved goodbye to us all and went on her way. I will never forget this experience, still one of the most amazing things I've seen in my lifetime.
